About Us & How We Compile The Lists Of
The BEST Places For Latinos To Work

Since 1997, the HLPA program has been providing America's Best companies & organizations with diversity based recruiting resources. Each year the program delivers career information and opportunities to Latino / Hispanic Professionals from quality socially conscious organizations who support the Latino Community.

To highlight and identify organizations actively recruiting and supporting the Latino Community, the HLPA publishes a set of lists of America's Best Places For Latinos To Work. These lists are listed by Region, Company Name, & Industry, and serve to educate and inform the Latino Community.

Any company that is at least 1 year old with more than 100 U.S. employees is eligible. Initial lists are published during the first week of the new year and are updated daily throughout the calendar year with companies and organizations who meet eligibility and pass the review process. Unlike other "BEST" of lists, these lists are updated throughout the calendar year to ensure accurate information to the job seeking Latino community. Updates include additions and removals from the lists. Once listed, organizations in good standing will remain on the lists for the entire calendar year.

If your organization has targeted Bilingual Latinos as part of a Diversity program during this time, chances are, your organization has been included in the over 5,000 companies, government agencies, hospitals, schools, associations, and others who have participated over the years. No other Latino Event & Program attracts more Latino Professionals or Top companies & organizations.

To make the lists, organizations must first register and apply with us either online at Contact Us or by phone at 888-550-3777. To qualify for addition to the lists, organizations must show and prove that they are making a recruitment advertising outreach to the Latino community with a National Latino Recruiting Organization. Organizations must also show that they have real current available jobs. Each year we also survey our active and inactive job seeker database and ask, among other things, if they have been hired (and by whom), or if they have any comments or complaints about any employers they have dealt with. All complaints are forwarded to the organization (registered contact on record with us) for review and response. If the issue is resolved to our and the job seekers satisfaction, the Employer may remain listed. However, if a complaint goes unresolved or if we are made aware of an organization not acting in good faith, we reserve the right to remove an organization from the lists at anytime.
